The Famalicão City Council invited INOVAFIL to participate in the “Missão Inovação” as part of the Innovation and Science Week, aligned with the Famalicão European Entrepreneurial Region 2024 action plan.

On June 18, a group of researchers from various research centers and laboratories in the region visited INOVAFIL for an intimate meeting to discuss the challenges faced by the industry.

The main goal of the Innovation Mission is to foster closer collaboration between research centers, researchers, innovation hubs, and companies, highlighting the importance of applying and enhancing scientific knowledge. It also emphasizes the significance of knowledge transfer as a key mechanism in a competitiveness strategy, driven by innovation and the creation of value in products and services within the region.

After the meeting, there was an opportunity for idea exchange and a tour of the spinning facilities. The researchers showed great interest in the work done by INOVAFIL, leading to several follow-up meetings where research teams presented solutions related to digitalization and material recycling. It was undoubtedly a very profitable event!
